For years I’ve been carrying a more well known name ankle med kit..a kit that I feel like this one is based off. My existing kit is still good to go. It’s looking a little worn and tired but it is 100% functional. I got this one because of the price and I wanted to try something different. I must admit, this one is aloooot more comfortable due to the stretchy panel. It is night and day. The size is perfect. The issue I had with my old one is the size was good until I put everything in. Then it was barley able to overlap . This one with the stretchy material def makes a big difference. The added Band-Aid pocket and dog tag pocket..idk..it’s fine. it’s there. I was able to fit bandaids in my old one. But I guess it’s cool to have a dedicated pouch. The only thing I can’t comment on is durability. It definitely seems like the material is not as heavy duty as my old one. But time will tell. But if you’ve been thinking about trying a medical kit, definitely pick this up for the price. It is a phenomenal bang for your buck and so far I recommend it.

Coming from a very similar and well known brand - I love this kit…the stretchy material where the Velcro is makes a world of a difference when it comes to comfort. The additional dog tag and band aid pocket is pretty nice. I don’t think many people carry around dog tags…so there’s that. But it’s an extra small little pocket. Same goes for the bandaid pocket. I was able to carry a couple Band-Aids in my old kit. So the extra pocket is definitely nice but it wouldn’t be a dealbreaker or maker with me. The only reason I gave it four stars is because I did not have it long enough to test its durability. It seems like my other brand feels more heavy duty and has lasted me years and still has some years left in it. But if this kit lasts… definitely five stars! Thank you for an awesome product at a great price!

I have carried this thing on my ankle every day for the past 4 years.

Contents carried in it were as follows: 1x SOF-T Wide tourniquet, 1x packet Z-Fold Quick Clot Combat Gauze, 2x HyFin chest vents, gloves.

I wear the ankle kit over my fashionable grey Walmart tube socks, just above the boot. It is comfortable. Recently I have switched to trying to carry a CAT tourniquet instead of SOF-T Wide. The cat still fits in these pockets and can be secured by a velcro strap. However this is not ideal. A deeper pocket specific to the CAT’s greater “height” when positioned vertically on the ankle would be nice. Realistically there probably just isn’t an easy way to carry the bulky CAT on your ankle.

At 4 years the ankle kit is starting to show some wear. Not too much though. Some fraying and kisses threads are coming loose, mostly on the bottom part which rides against my boot. There is a small hole at the base of one pocket almost big enough for my pinky. Second pocket has separation at the base. not carrying anything small enough to fall out of these holes, and they could easily be repaired with a needle and thread.

Looks like my initial review from 4 years ago was deleted! Strange… Probably because I complained that it smelled horribly of MOTH BALLS when I received it. Yuck! Well that went away after a week or two IIRC.

I have used several ankle kits from the military to law enforcement. The elastic and pouches really set this apart. Well thought out and at a great price.

Very satisfied with the product. It is well put together and everything fits very nicely into the pockets, including my-chest seals. I personally wear it over my boots under my pants leg and many times I forget that I even have it on, it's very comfortable. Also with the extension sometimes I wear it above my boot around my calf and it rides very comfortably no rubbing or irritation. Will definitely recommend to my friends.

As a Marksmanship Master Trainer for the Department of the Army, it is essential for me to be able to carry basic IFAK items with me at all times. I am on the range with students of varying degrees of proficiency at least 5 days a week. Belt mounted kits are bulky, and placing medical items in your pocket is cumbersome. The Disruptive EDC Ankle medical kit has become my go to solution for both Active Duty Military classes I instruct, for classes I instruct under my private business, and for every day carry use. I carry concealed 7 days a week to ensure I have expanded capabilities to protect my loved ones, yet we are most likely going to need medical before we engage with firearms. I highly recommend that if your into being a protector, you take a good look at this kit.

I just received my Disruptive EDC ankle medical kit , just the carrier because I have medical supplies . The quality of the ankle carrier is fantastic , I really like the elastic closure . The drainage holes are a smart addition , overall a great product . I'm going to be purchasing more products in the future. Only one dislike , USPS delivered late . Not a Disruptive product inc. fault at all .

Best Ankle Kit on the Market!
One thing missing from a lot of these types of kits is the stretch panel. I have tried a few other models and stopped using them because they were not very comfortable. This one is different!

The stretch panel makes a HUGE difference in comfort. I actually forget I am wearing it.

In addition to the comfort the pocket layout is very well thought out. Many kits try to go overboard with how much gear they can hold. The result is they don't conceal as well. The extra bulk also negatively affects comfort.

The pocket for the chest seal is a nice design feature.

I personally carry a SWAT tourniquet on the inside and Celox rapid dressing on the outside in addition to a Hy Vent Compact chest seal in the chest seal pocket. I still have room for a few other items I am considering.
